Fundraising – Sunday 8th May Bridges of London – A lovely 10mile sponsored walk through London’s sights, across 12 iconic bridges and finishing at Tower Bridge. Chris Bryce has kindly organised this for us. Full details of coach transport and application forms are on the Ladies notice board. If you cannot walk, perhaps you could sponsor someone. All money raised goes to the Garden House Hospice, Letchworth

Care Of Our Course – Use the pathways Access the 10th tee – please use the pathways provided, taking a short cut across or around the putting green will only cause damage. Access to the 1st from the 18th – please use the pathway to the right of the 18th green and avoid cutting underneath the putting green as this will also cause damage.

County Day At Porters Park – £1500 was raised to support Junior Girls golf in Hertfordshire. Prizes were a 4-ball round of golf at some very prestigious clubs. Our ladies were very excited with 4 winners from Chesfield Downs: Sue Watson won Hadley Wood, Lesley Bonser won Brookmans Park, Lorraine Palmer won Bishops Stortford and Maureen Martin won Harpenden Common. Congratulations to our winners. Enjoy your fabulous free golf days.
